Baseball Queensland is seeking expressions of interest from individuals who are passionate about preserving and promoting the heritage of baseball in Queensland to join its Heritage Advisory Council.
As a member of the Heritage Advisory Council, you will play a key role in identifying, preserving, and promoting the rich history of baseball in Queensland. Your expertise and passion will be used to advise Baseball Queensland on matters relating to the sport’s heritage, including the preservation of historical artifacts and sites, the organisation of events and exhibitions, election to the Hall of Fame and the promotion of the sport’s heritage to the wider community.
To be eligible for this role, you should have a strong interest in baseball and its history in Queensland. You should also have experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
– Historical research
– Heritage preservation
– Event management
– Marketing and promotion
– Experience in Queensland baseball spanning multiple “Eras” as defined in the Heritage Advisory Council Charter.
