Baseball Queensland (BQ) is seeking expressions of interest from individuals who are passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion to join BQ’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council.
The Council will provide guidance and advice to Baseball Queensland on matters related to equity, diversity, and inclusion in baseball. It will also assist in the development of strategies and policies that promote and support the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion within the baseball community.
We are looking for individuals who have a strong understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion issues and a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all members of the baseball community. Experience in related fields such as law, human resources, or community development will be considered an asset.
The committee will also feature subgroups specifically addressing:
i) female participation;
ii) disability; and
iii) implementation of the Gender Equity Action Plan.
