QUEENSLAND U18 SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT
Following the 2023 Baseball Queensland Showcase Event, we’re thrilled to introduce the 33 players in the U18 Queensland Squad ⚾️.
The selection process during the Showcase Event was tough and thorough. We closely examined each player, evaluating their unique skills, strengths, and potential contributions to the squad. These players displayed dedication and strong performance throughout the selection process. Their inclusion in the U18 Queensland Squad reflects their ongoing improvement as athletes.
As these 33 talented individuals begin their journey representing Queensland, we have full confidence in their ability to excel, not only individually but also as a cohesive unit. They bring a diverse range of skills and strengths, making the U18 Queensland Squad a strong force in the baseball arena.
Congratulations to these talented players who will start training in October in preparation for the Australian Youth Championships in January.

The following positions are up for election at the AGM:
Commissioner – (position currently held by Chris Norrie)
Director – (position currently held by Rodney Gaunt)
Director – (position currently held by Andrea Marshall)
Director, casual vacancy – (position currently held by Daniel White)
Details on nominating candidates for election to the Board of Management can be found within the 2023 AGM Notice.
Nominations are to be submitted on the form available from page 18 of the Baseball Queensland Constitution.
Please ensure nominations are signed by two current Regional Representatives and the nominee.
Please note the nominations closing date of C.O.B. 3 October 2023.

Tournament Advisory Panel EOI
BQ Tournament Advisory Panel Expression of Interest
Baseball Queensland is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from members who would like to contribute to the preparation and planning of tournaments in QLD.
Baseball tournaments, beyond being competitive showcases, serve as a catalyst for community unity. These events bring together teams, families, and supporters, fostering a spirit of collaboration and shared passion. They exemplify the power of sports in building strong connections within our baseball community
The BQ Tournament Advisory Panel (TAP) will work within the Game Development portfolio to prepare and plan all aspects of QLD Baseball tournaments.
The TAP will provide current knowledge and practices using community people to support the high-standard delivery of tournaments administered by BQ with responsibilities to include:
- Event Management
- Age Groups
- Tournament Budget
- Tournament Rules
- Tournament Systems
- Officials
- Host Venues
The TAP is not responsible for the execution and delivery of tournaments.
