2021 Athlete Development Program – Online Registration Open

Baseball Queensland is pleased to release information about the 2021 Athlete Development Programs. This program is designed and delivered for players of all abilities in the 2021/22 Little League, Junior League and U16/ U18 Age Groups.

This 8 week program will commence in July and will be delivered at a location close to you. Baseball QLD High Performance Manager, Shayne Watson says “Following the success of last years program, I am expecting another big year for this program”. He continues “This program is affordable and convenient for any member who wishes to participate”. This Program will be delivered at three venues located at Gold Coast, South Brisbane and North Brisbane (Venues to be confirmed shortly) and will be delivered by Region coaches. Watson says “Baseball QLD has an enormous depth of coaching and coordination with our Regional Directors of Coaching is strong within our community”.

The Athlete Development Program is the entry level program for Baseball Queensland’s Performance Pathway framework. Quick Overview:

Program Time Frame – 8 weeks

  • 17th/ 18th July – 5th September
    • South and North Brisbane = Saturday’s
    • Gold Coast = Sunday’s

South Brisbane (Saturday’s)

  • All Age Groups: 2pm – 4:30pm

Venues – Alternating between

  • Wests and Indians Baseball Clubs

North Brisbane (Saturday’s)

  • U16/ U18: 9:00am – 11:30am
  • Little League: 11:30am – 2:00pm
  • Junior League: 2:00pm – 4:30pm

Venue

  • All Stars Baseball Club

Gold Coast (Sunday’s)

  • All Age Groups: 2pm – 5pm
